Black Lace did not have any hits in US or in Canada. It's a shame. They had some catchy tunes :)
And here they are:
#5: Right Between The Eyes - Wax
#10: I'm Not Scared - Eighth Wonder
#13: Spirits In The Material World - The Police

#15 is Shakatak, but it's not Nightbirds. Good song title guess though. The others are 100% correct :)

It's not City Rhythm. I invite you to try again ;)

Then it's either a song I don't know at all, or one I obviously don't know well enough... The latter would be quite embarrassing... :-\\
Modified to add:
I still got 0.5 left, so I'll give you the artist for #12: Fine Young Cannibals. I don't know the song.

#30 I think the (flippin' awful) song is called "Ay Ay Ay Ay Moosy"
#45 I Feel Like Buddy Holly - Alvin Stardust
#48 The song is "Whenever You Need Somebody"
#49 Tahiti - David Essex - my memory might be playing tricks here but was that Sinitta speaking the words on this song?
#51 Look Away - Big Country
I still don't recognise any of the really tough ones though!

With the limit now off...
#19: the title is Leave In Silence
.. and I'll have a go at #65. I might be way off here, but could it be The Friends Of Mr. Cairo by Jon & Vangelis (which would make it only 50% British)...? :-\\
Mind you, I've never heard the actual song, but I've read some descriptions of it and it does seem to fit.

All correct :) Jon and Vangelis are 50% British yes. Vangelis is Greek, I believe. The Friends of Mr. Cairo has always been a mystery to me. It was a #1 hit here in Canada, but it didn't do any damage in either the US or the UK charts. I can only assume that it was big in other international countries

Back once more...
Only from your clues I'm guessing that #62 must be That's Love.
And the Shakatak song (#15) may be Easier Said Than Done... though I thought I knew that one. :-\\

I thought it might have been this one, mainly because its about his only hit after he left Haircut 100
He did have a few solo hits. I believe 'Take That Situation' was his biggest, but I liked 'Warning Sign' the best 8)
