Thought I'd do an easy one to start out with! Limit 2 per person.
Most of these are pop/rock songs. All chronological 80's too. In other words, I'm not gonna pick something from, say 1979, or 1992 because it "sounds" 80's, hehe. ;)

That's right. I just learned something new - I had no idea that was a cover at all.
Just wondered - did the band change the lyrics at all? It makes references to Reagan, so it's very "1985"?

No, it's as per the original which first surfaced in 1983...when Mr. Reagan was still very much 'in charge'...

What's funny is, I was gonna do an obscure lyric from that song, but opted to make it really easy instead.
BTW, off note, Rick never seems to get much radio play outside of 80's programs. Too bad 'cause that's a great song and apparently a huge hit in its day (Top 10 I think?).

Yeah, you got it. I saw the video a few times on VH1 way back in the day too - wasn't it interspersed with real baseball game footage?
