Last Spring, I posted a quiz with partial Similes found in the lyrics of 70's Top 40 hits.  Since that quiz ended, I found 28 more.  As always, the songs are all well-known U. S. Top 40 hits which were on the charts somewhere in 1969 through 1980.

Name the Song and the 70's Artist.  If you want, feel free to include the lyrics before or after the partial simile, but it is certainly NOT required for credit.
