#2 is "Der Kommissar" by After The Fire. (Not Falco's version, since that one's sung primarily in German.) The title refers to a German commissioner, if i'm not mistaken.
#4, which also has a German version, is "99 Luftballoons" by Nena.

On second thought, 15 is "The End of the Innocence" by Don Henley.
Just a guess, but I think the theme of the quiz is songs having to do with the Apocalypse or war of some kind.

Well done so far everyone. You're close Indy, but my mystery theme here is not the end, although it felt imminent at times. My theme no longer exists, though it left us with some scary memories and a ton of awesome music! Keep at it.
OK, 7 songs to go, and nally's currently in the lead. Let's see who guesses what next, and who guesses the theme. Good luck!

Hey Doc, I just clicked on what the theme is...La Guerra Fria = the Cold War, right?
Although I'm not sure how "Don't Dream It's Over" fits into this theme :-\\.

I think #14 is "I Melt With You" by Modern English, although I don't think it had anything to do with the cold war.

Nice work guys, especially on the last few. karen, Kryllith and FD must've had to do a lot of listening to find those! ;)
Just one to go, but strangely I thought it was one of the easiest. Oh well, at least once it's answered, the wall comes down! (OK, we're a little late for that, but it'd be cool to watch again. :D) Good luck, I can't wait to see who nails it!
