Random lyrics, all the songs have a place (country, city, state, etc) in the title.  One place no longer exists and one more is fictional

23. A hill to take, a battle to be won
hint - America's "first Iraq" (OK, maybe not the first)
hint - Features near the beginning of "Full metal jacket"

Perfect excuse to re-watch Full Metal Jacket?

Last I heard from him he had changed jobs again and couldn't get access here during the day.  He was having internet problems at home as well.

I tried to e-mail him a while back but it bounced back to me so I don't know.
