Sorry but Bobo beat you to #21.  Haven't heard Tom Jones' version here.

The others are correct.  I've always loved Son Of My Father - takes me back :)  You got #23 right but I did have a different artist in mind.  I thought one of the Aussies would have got it.

Hi Paul  :)  Thanks for your concern - I'm feeling a lot better thanks to a bit of #17!! ;)  which is one of my favourite Stones song.  Didn't know it was going to become my signature tune :-[

Of course, all your answers are 100% correct.  I'm glad you got Cousin Norman - I absolutely love that song.  Oh so you've heard Drummond's Daddy Cool - I think they got singing lessons from Alvin & The Chipmunks :o

Limits off, jaytee? Lovely...

#16. 'Daddy Cool' - Boney M
A different song altogether from #23...

#26. 'Sylvia's Mother' - Dr Hook & The Medicine Show
Surprised no-one got this yet...

#29. 'Son Of Hickory Holler's Tramp' - O.C.Smith
Best known in his home country as the singer of 'Little Green Apples', this was a great slice of late 60s pop/soul, and superb for parties, despite the subject matter...!!

Glad you got Hickory Holler's Tramp.  My cousin had that on a compilation LP and we used to play it to death on his poxy little record player!  Those were the days. ;) ;D

No  :D  The singer had quite a few hits here (first with a band and then as a solo artist) before heading off to the States in the 70s.  He was a session musician over there and has only come back to Aus in the last 10 years or so.
