Subject: Who the Hell are We? (Now we all know!)
Hi People.
You will find below a list of characters from movies. Your rather simple task is to give me the movie and the actor that played the character. All of them have come from my memory, not from texts, so you should be able to get them pretty easily. Some of my spellings might be a bit astray. One of them has at least two possible answers, so I will take the first in. Let's open with a limit of three.

#3 Humphrey Bogart or Harrison Ford-Sabrina

Cat,
Absolutely correct. I have often thought that Ford is the only person who can pull off a Bogart re-make.

Nope. "A View to a Kill" is the worst.

5. Peter Sellers-Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Loved The Bomb

Valentin,
All three right. I don't know who plays Kathy in "The Sum of All Fears", if she features at all.
Rice Cube,
No.15: Correct film, but her first name is not Carly. I agree with your sentiments.
No.12: Correct.
Goreripper,
Both right
Indy Gent,
Both right

Nuts. How about Carey?
Subject: Re: Who the Hell are We?
#22 is Diana Rigg in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".
The only woman who James Bond married, I believe I'm right in saying, although it didn't last long as she was shot dead in their car while driving off on honeymoon....

Indeed. This is correct. In several other episodes, Bond can be found placing flowers on her grave.

Hi Gore!!
Is #6 The Party / Peter Sellers?
Subject: Community Replies #4
Maddog,
I think it's a moot point to tell you that #22 is correct. Tracey is indeed shot dead by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, whilst in the background, Louis Armstrong sings "We Had All the Time in the World". Most notably, Bond can be seen placing flowers on Tracey's grave in the opening shots of For Your Eyes Only.
Jonman,
#6 is correct and a good get. Birdy Num Num!!

I believe 23 is Sean Connery in The Untouchables, although he is known as Jimmy Malone.
Subject: Re: Who the Hell are We?
Anna Scott - Julia Roberts - Notting Hill

#16 has been driving me mad because it's such an unusual name (Sturgeon Panner? Turgeon Spanner?)....but it's just come to me...it's Robert Duvall in "Deep Impact", the old astronaut guy who convinces the rest of the spaceship crew to sacrifice themselves by blowing up the second asteroid that's on a collision course with Earth, thereby Saving The World.

Indy Gent,
Correct. Ness calls him "Malone" and his corrupt cop friend calls him "Jimmy". The only time he is called "James" is when Ness tells him that he named his new-born son "John James", the second name after Malone.
Berkley98,
Correct. I was going to use the Hugh Grant character but I could only remember "William".
Maddog,
Correct. You will remember that they "called me Fish at the academy: Spurgeon - sturgeon - Fish".

20. Maureen O'Hara - The Quiet Man (with John Wayne)
21. Jimmy Stewart - The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (I think that's the name of the movie)
Subject: For CS
CS,
Both correct.
And that, as they say, is the ball game!
