Yes, it's a bit frustrating but I console myself with the thought that if I do get any of the remaining answers at least they're not the easy ones....

Hi Fuss, you are right on both counts, of course! :)

I reckon the Sting song doesn't have "An" in the title (although he does sing this in the lyric) so it fits better in my A to Z.

3 for you too Don, well done :).
make that 4 on the crafty edit Don!

I didn't know about the unusual billing for the artist on Philadelphia Freedom - was that a one-off?

Tallahassee Lassie - I have a feeling he was known as Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon but I don't know why! I have a great version of this song on an old vinyl EP by The Flaming Groovies  - anyone remember them?

modified Cannon - boom boom - I just got it - doh!

17 is correct Jaqui, well done.

18 is not right - I can see (hear?) the similarity in the songs but remember this is an A-Z quiz so song #18 starts with the letter "R".

On reflection, I'd say that "Tarzan Boy" goes more like
"Oh-eh-oh Oh-way-oh-way Eh-oh-wah" ;)

Would you believe, Maddog, that before logging in here, I just spent the last hour composing a City Quiz? Grrrrrr..... >:( Oh well, maybe I can just knock out all the ones you've already used and go from there... :-/

#10 is Jenny Take a Ride/CC Rider by Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheel.

Sorry Zella - that must be really annoying. Please do put up the city quiz though...

#10 is correct - I wasn't sure if anyone would get it, so well done. Let's Go Redwings!

(I have a soft spot for the Redwings as I saw them play in Detroit when I was there
on a business trip a few years ago. They got beaten by the LA Kings in overtime though).

Correct Billy, well done.
I wrote that lyric from memory, I definitely recall hearing it the song but maybe I'm thinking of the ZZ Top version.
