I may or may not be writing a trivia book of my own.. still doing what I consider the bare minimum research (gathering songs and stuff).. and trying to nail down what I want it to contain, but I figured I'd do a quick lyrics quiz just to start getting in the swing of things..

these are all from the chorus of songs, or the line directly proceeding or following it.. they're repeated a lot in the song, let's put it that way.. I picked somewhat hard songs though, so it won't be that easy.. number 8 will probably be the hardest of the lot.. and yes, it charted in Billboard.. (9 didn't, but I bet it gets picked off quickly)

Hey Chucky,

Last year I actually made my own 80s lyrics game. I've called it Lyrication. Each card has 3 lines from the same song. The fewer lines from the song you need, the more points you get. I think I have about 2000 cards or so. I've made the box fluorescent green and cut out pictures of 80s artists and bands and attached them all over the box.

I thought about doing a card set like that too.. I think my current idea is going to be a line from the song, and then hints about the song/singer, with the last question a scrambled version of the song name and artist.. with a nice index at the back, so if you want some trivia about a song/artist you can just look for the number.. I've been thinking of trying to do every song from the billboard charts, with maybe another thousand or so that didn't make the charts, but are still memorable for whatever reason.. I may scale that down though, since some obscure groups are still hard to find anything about online or elsewhere
