I'm sure he did, but I don't have any AOR, AC, Country, or R&B chart books, and his fan site is down right now.
Apperently there is a question about his birthplace, VH1 and a Mike Clifford book I have say he was born in California, Billboard and Rolling stone say he was born in a Mississipi River State.

No, not really. I was surprised Zella didn't get it first. But the Oscar info really sent me in high gear.
I will start another 20 Questions. I'm not going to try Bobo's quiz. So if Karen M. or anyone else wins, I'd like to work together on the next one if possible. :)

I just got back in time to see the winner! I don't think I would have gotten it, but at least it was someone I've heard of! :D I was going in the direction of Dr. John earlier, but a couple of the replies killed that one off.... ::)

Didn't the California question help any, Zella? I don't think Dr. John even lived in California. Screwball and I thought you knew "I Love LA". ???

I know the song, but I don't know much about Randy Newman because I never really liked him. And I was gone for the last three pages of the quiz anyway (eating supper).
Now, for important business: what is the best way to morph the old (and now locked) yearbook thread into a new one.... ??? It was just getting interesting again.... <sigh>

You could always use Copy and paste all though this might take a while, you could ask hairspray to move the last five posts to a new thread.
