Subject: J.C.'s Weathered Lyrics Quiz#1(Now concluded)
Since I has been storming here just a couple of hours ago, I felt inspired to make up this quiz in which all the lyrics have weather temrs in them. Here goes:
WL1. In the end, the rain comes down. (Blue Sky Mine-Midnight Oil)
CD2. It's like thunder, lightning. (Knock On Wood-Eddie Floyd)
WL3. A bright, bright sun shiny day.(I Can See Clearly Now-Johnny Nash)
FBVP4. Thunder only happens when it's raining.(Dreams-Fleetwood Mac)
FBVP5. Clouds in my coffee.(You're So Vain-Carly Simon)
WL6. We're in for nasty weather. (Burning Down The House-Talking Heads)
FBVP7. But there came an early snow. (Wildfire-Michael Murphey)
SG8. Extra blankets for the cold.(In The Winter-Janis Ian)
LB15 9. In the hot, hot sun.(How Bizarre-OMC)
SB54 10. In the eye of the storm.(America-Neil Diamond)
RnRF 11. It's the lightning, not the thunder.(Jeopardy-The Greg Kihn Band)
FBVP12. When the skies of November turn gloomy (The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald-Gordon Lightfoot)
This quiz is now closed. Thanks for playing, everyone.

Hi J.C.
2. It's like thunder, lightning. (The original artist only) Knock On Wood by Aami Stewart - sorry I don't know if she was the original, but I am presuming you didn't want to hear Michael Bolton....Ewwww!
4. Thunder only happens when it's raining. Dreams - Fleetwood Mac
5. Clouds in my coffee. You're So Vain - Carly Simon
6. We're in for nasty weather. Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clearwater Revival
7. But there came an early snow. Wildfire - Michael Murphey
12. When the skies of November turn gloomy (Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald - Gordon Lightfoot)

I must be more in tune with stormy songs than I realised !
Subject: Re: J.C.'s Weathered Lyrics Quiz#1
All of your answers are correct, Fuss! :) But #2 is still open since you said Ami Stewart instead of the original artist(s).
Also, #6 is not the song I was the song I was thinking of, but it is correct anyway. I'll leave it open too.
