Well Gambo, you killed that thread off dead !
Well done !
Subject: Re: Another short 60's lyrics quiz
Aaaaagggghhh! I didn't even get to try. :'(
Can I throw lawn darts at Gambo, can I, can I huh? :-/
Subject: Re: Another short 60's lyrics quiz
Yes Zella you can throw Lawn Darts
Throw lots and lots in Gambo's direction - Gambo is a notified Thread Killer !
And to think, I could've pulled him up on his answer to Number 8 (as he did with me on number 10), but I let it go.
Can you spot why Zella ?
And shall I try another one ? I suppose I shall hve to make it harder though (like yours) :)

Actually Fuss, I don't recognize #8. I could have gotten #'s 1, 3, 5, 9, and 10. #7 was really familiar but I couldn't place it. The other four I didn't recognize at all.

Then I'll say it
My copy of One Times, Two Times, Three Times, Four is by
"The Zoot"
Yes I know Rick Springfield was the singer - that was before he took the long slippery dip and ended up singing such cannon fodder as 'Jessie's Girl' - YEECCHH..... >:(

Can't help it - it's in my nature to be a FUSSBUDGET !
I thought my comments might miff someone, but that was not my intention...
It's just THAT song I don't like >:( >:(
Ian Moss of Cold Chisel released a song a song in the 80's called Tucker's Daughter
For me it ranks alongside - there, I've had my whinge now ! ;)

Hi.
Just passing through, and I wanted to say:
Rick Springfield was NOT the singer for The Zoot. He was the guitarist toward the end of their life.
The singer was Daryl Cotton.
Rick wasn't even in the band when they recorded "1x2x3x4". The guitarist at that time was Roger Hicks.
