Hailing from the Chinese province of Qinghai, Yongqing Bao has won the prestigious wildlife photographer of the year 2019 title for his image The Moment, which frames the standoff between a Tibetan fox and a marmot. A powerful frame of both humour and horror, it captures the drama and intensity of nature.

I saw those the other day. There was an article about them in the Washington Post. Pretty amazing.

I saw the above photo on a news broadcast with the sound turned down, not realising the important of the photo.

I agree with you but unfortunately, that little guy became dinner almost as soon that pic was taken. The look on his face said it all that he knew his life was over. :\'( :\'(
