Im 6'4 and around 300 but I can fit on most rides just fine, it is mostly just my thighs that are the problem.

I'm only 5'11", and 313 pounds. I think your height helps slim you down.

It certainly does, no one believes me when I tell them my weight, which is a very good thing. :)

What was the scariest roller coaster you've been on?

I haven't been to an amusement park since I was 14. We don't have many here...actually we don't have any that I know of, :-\\ ...maybe up in the northern area. So we have to travel to Massachusetts to go to Six Flags or some other ones. We use to have a Theme park called Rocky Point Park, but it's in ruins now and closed down since 1996.

We have those traveling carnivals that come to our area every Summer, but I never go. Always afraid I'm gonna ride the Tilt 'a Whirl and that it's going to send me flying somewhere because it wasn't properly adjusted,  ;D

Other than FoF, I love every single rollercoaster, heck I would even go on Top Thrill Dragster or Kingda Ka if I was at those parks!

Six Flags New England was originally called Riverside Park. We used to go there frequently since we lived in the area. One time when I was about 9 or 10, I was there with 2 of my sisters & my best friend at the time. My sisters wanted to go on the roller coaster but my friend & I didn't. We got candy apples and decided to go on the Tilt-A-Whir instead which was next to the roller coaster. Since we had the candy apples, only 2 of us could go on it at a time while the other two held the apples. It was our turn to hold the apples.

I heard a BANG! I looked toward where it was coming from to see my friend running toward the roller coaster. I followed. When I got there, I saw the roller coaster car on its side and people climbing out. The ride just started and was going around the bend to get to its ascend. Luckily it didn't make it to the ascend before it tipped. What really got me and I will ALWAYS remember this. There was a woman in the crowd who cried, "RICHARD! HE'S UNDER THERE!" I have no idea who Richard was or if he was hurt (actually if anyone was hurt) or not but it scared the bejesus out of me. I thought what if my friend & I hadn't talked my sisters out of going on the roller coaster? Would they have been on that fateful ride or still had been waiting in line? I don't know. And I'm glad that I didn't find out. It was THAT POINT when I really became afraid of roller coasters. Of course I was afraid to get on any ride that day-but I was convinced to go on the antique cars and of course the fun house since it wasn't really a ride.

I have gotten on a few of them since-even ones that go upside down. But, I do not like them.

Thats quite understandable, I would probably be scared of rollercoasters too if I witnessed that.

I have always felt safe on every rollercoaster I have been except for maybe Firehawk because its a flying coaster and  by the end of it you sort of feel like you are falling out.

Good for you. I have always been scared to go on rollercoasters that go upside down, so I've only gone on ones that don't. Also I do not have any "recent" pictures of theme park rides (cuz I haven't been to any lately) but maybe one day I can scan some of my older pictures and share 'em here. :)

It looks like you were having a great time! My past with roller coasters is short. I rode when I was 4 or 5 when my parents and me went to Anaheim while my baby sister stayed with my Grandparents. My dad's friend met us there. Well the two men decided to take me on an indoor coaster. All I remember was that it was mostly dark and I kept saying "Daddy over and over while grabbing both if their shirts really tightly. While on that trip we also went to a wax museum. A fake Normal Bates flinged a knife up and scared the s**t out of me 😂 After that I mainly stuck to kiddy rides. But gradually started riding a few bigger ones, like the non-coaster coasters where it's more like a goat kart speed with tiny hills. Like the Alligator. But only a few. I rode the barrel one and while it wasn't scary I hit my head a few times as we spun and it hurt like hell! I refuse to get on most things now. But I did get the guts to go on another roller coaster in 2003. An outside wooden one, a very old wooden one. I was frozen in fear lol. But I still love looking at all pictures and videos. Even POV videos. I find amusement park rides fascinating to say the very least. But I told myself that if I get to Disney World I will ride the Tower of Terror!
