these were from my first tie dye kit in which you use soda ash. the first time I tie dyed was when I was young and we squirted RIT dye on cotton shirts( which I recently read that RIT wont go on cotton)

Neat looking shirts. Do you plan on selling them?
You should look into buying cold water dyes from an art supply store rather than using a kit.

Rit is great for dying cotton, however you need to use hot water. You can check out theie liquid dyes and see if you can use in cold water.

they're not that neat, I need some more practice. I had thought about making them to sell. I have a picture of a shirt I did using RIT and following the tie dye instructions on their website. I used teal a blue color and purple. only some purple stayed on the shirt and iti s faint. The water was 140 or more for each color. Now it was a bath instead of squirt bottles, but I should have at least seen some of the other colors. These were Jacquard cold water dies you set the shirt with soda ash and squirt the dies out of a bottles. Much better for tie die
Thanks Howard
Nice pic of a target design there

the two on the right end are really just kind of a mess. the best two are on the left and I'll probably take a picture with me wearing them so you can see them better. I'm going to hem some of them up and make a shirt dress jester costume with one of them. Maybe bleach dye the other two or something.

This is my favorite shirt of all six. Would have been better if I put it more toward the center of the shirt. I curled the shirt up like making a spiral and made pie slices with the die.

This shirt is actually more yellow and bright in areas. I'm gonna make a shirt dress with it and cut the edges of in triangles. I curled the shirt 2 times in opposite directions and got the die in the fold to make th s shape.
