I kept this one large because the signing remains my all time favorite real life meet.... Donzaleigh Abernathy is the daughter of Rev. Ralph Abernathy (Dr King's right hand man during the civil rights movement... Donzaleigh and I had a great talk and then she signed an autograph for me!

I love Lacey but my loyalties lie with Cagney!...there were three Cagneys but only one real one! ;)
I also have an autographed TV guide but my apts a bit messy and I couldn't get a good pic of it...
it is like a museum tho! I sort of embrace chaos and really like every inch of wall and shelf covered with stuff!
I blame moving so much....having all my stuff around me is how I feel at home... I have never felt at home here because I have never had "all my stuff" out... its too damn small...you should have seen my last place!

My parents still have some, but their total collection isn't much compared to what I see in this picture. They have 45's and 78's of music mostly from the 1960s.

When I moved in with Carlos, we combined our record collection. He had more than I did-now OUR collection is not as big as yours but we are not too far from it. We did get rid of two boxes-but they weren't really ours-we bought them at an auction. As for ours, Carlos wants to get rid of them but I have a hard time letting go.

Awesome collections everyone! And great thread idea Ash!!
I collect shot glasses.
It started out that I would buy one from every new place (city, state, province, country) I visited, however it took on it's own life. My sister-in-law, sister and husband are constantly picking me up new shot glasses. I have approximately 300 shot glasses - and they are all lined up on the top of my cupboards because I just don't have anywhere else for them!
Here they are:
This is the full collection in one shot:

And these are individual sections so you can see all of the ones behind the front row.

I have the Vitameatavegimin Lucy Doll..... but she's hiding in the closet with the other barbies.... when I went to that private museum the guy owns the original vitameatavegamin dress and I got a pic next to it... so when I get a real place I will proudly dispaly that pic next to the Barbie I own..

Cool collection snoz, from what I can see. My gf has been collecting Barbies for years. She like the limited edition designer ones - Bob Mackie, Givenchy, Vera Wang, &etc. She has cool looking Scarlet O'Hara one. It's cool that she's into this stuff - shows she's lightening-up... ;D
I had to make like Tim Allen and build her a halfass rack for them. One she has her eye on lately is a retro Barbie & the Rockers doll. I get the Entertainment Earth catalog and what a candy store that place is! So much fun to look through...

Wow...that is quite a collection, Tam!! :o :o
I'll post pictures of my stuff at some point; I just need to take the pictures. Also, many of the things I collect are stored in boxes (such as marbles), so it would be pretty hard to take a pic of all those...but I suppose opening up the box and taking the pic will suffice.

It would take A LOT to take pics of my entire collection (even though I SHOULD do that for insurance proposes anyway), but I did take a few. They were quicky photos so they are not the best but you can get a gist of what my collection is like-and mind you, this is only a small fraction of what I actually have.
First of all my albums:

Not all albums are full.
Here is a page from my Morgan Silver Dollar album:

A page from my Barber or Liberty Head Quarter album:

I have a Peanuts comic hanging in my kitchen that I've had up in various places since I was in high school. It's just so me and my life. Linus is playing basketball. Well, he has a basketball in one hand and an ice cream cone in the other, but then he throws the ice cream cone up toward the the hoop and holds on to the basketball instead. The last block is him standing there all sad with both the ball and the cone on the ground. It's so funny and so depressing all at the same time.

I have a Pig-Pen wall hanging that says "Neatness is not my strong point." Linus is great. However it's his and Lucy's little brother I'm fond of . . . Rerun. He's always trying to buy Snoopy with cookies. Some of the Peanuts things on ebay are wonderful but expensive. (The plate is gorgeous, just thought I'd mention that.) I remember the last strip and waking up the next morning to hear that Mr.Schultz had left us. I talked to my Mom for an hour on the phone. I was in tears and holding on to a stuffed Charlie Brown.

The one I love (which I can find references to it on-line but I can't find IT) had Freida holding her cat. Someone walked by and said, "Hmmph." Then Freida says, "People hate cats." Next frame: "People hate people who own cats." Last frame: "People especially hate people who own cats who have natural curly hair." I don't know why but this one just cracked me up.
Every year for many, many years, my dad would ALWAYS get us birthday cards that features the peanut characters (and yes, I still have ALL the ones he sent me). The one that really topped it was when I was in Greece. I think it was my sister who sent it to me. It had Linus on the front wearing a toga and it said, "What do people in Greece do for their birthday?" You open the card and it said, "Slide around a lot. (Try not to think about it too much.)" She was so afraid that everyone was going to send me the same card but she took a chance anyway-and lo & behold, no one else did. :D ;D ;D

what a cool thread 8) and you all have some really cool collections of pigs, records, hats, old coins, shot glasses, posters, Hollywood celebs and Barbies and Snoopy & dragons and plates ..did I miss any?
here's most of Julie's Beanie Baby collection on a shelf/mantel in her room. she has about 20 more of the more valuable ones in cases
my favorite is Scoop, he's the Pelican in the middle.
when she was little I would entertain her by holding Scoop and doing a goofy voice for him. that seems like so long ago
yeah, yeah.. that's Orlando Bloom on her wall ::)
That is quite amazing. 8)

WOW! That's a LOT of shot glasses, You really should look for a cabinet to keep them in, top of the cupboards doesn't do such a cool collection justice!
Thanks Girl! I used to have a cabinet for them, but I have so many that they were being puked out of the cabinet! ;D And when we moved, the cabinet got broke.
Now you tell me! I could have bought you some kickass ones for your secret Santa gift. ;D
It's all good Girl! I am sure I don't need anymore! ;D
The monkeys are absolutely adorable!
Tam- Steve collects shot glasses too. I will have to take a pic of them to show you. I love the Pooh Bear ones!
Thanks - the Pooh ones are like double shot glasses.
I would love to see Steve's collection! 8)
Wow...that is quite a collection, Tam!! :o :o
Thanks Jeff! 8)

Not the best photo but I think you can see them all. Yes, that is a refrigerator under there. (Just don't look at all the junk on top). I still have room for a few more. ;) There are some repeats but they were freebies.
I noticed one was missing-one of my first ones-I bought as my Declaration of Independence after my first marriage ended. It said, "The marines aren't the only one looking for a few good men." ;) I wonder if I put that away after I married Carlos-I just don't remember.
If you want more photos (close-ups) just let me know. I love to show them all off.

The Christmas ornament was a freebie from some company-I can't remember but it came in the mail years ago. I didn't like it but Carlos added it to the collection and I just left it there. As for the one that looks like an egg-that is actually a rock-and there are several of those in the collection. They were all done by Carlos' dad-who is into lapidary (cutting & polishing rocks/stones). He does quite good work. I have a bunch of jewelry that he has made and Carlos has some belt buckles/bolo ties etc. Everyone collects rocks for him. (Gives new meaning of the line, "I got a rock". :D ;D ;D ) One time, Carlos' sister was traveling and brought him back some rocks. She was picked to have her suitcase gone through and when the guy opened her suitcase, there were a bunch of rocks. She said, "Yes, those are rocks." The guy said, "To each his own." And when he was visiting here, he mailed back a box of rocks to L.A. (when he was living there). We all laugh about him and his rocks, but yet we all admire his work.

I have been on a couple of jobs(construction) where they were digging down and have found quite a few bottles. I have some from the 1850s, but I know some guys who found clay ones from the 1700s. It is fun catching a glimmer then digging them out. I only save the ones I found myself. :)

One of the things I collect are mannequin heads. It might seem creepy and strange to some, but it's actually a lot of fun to collect. Mannequin heads have different hair types and colors just like people:straight, curly, wavy, ethnic...Different hair lengths, short, long, medium hair.
Here is my collection of only five(one is not pictured). They are very hard to find and expensive! I really want the ones with the long necks. They even have names. From the left they are: Courtney, Destiny, Tiffany, Angel, and the one not pictured is Kyle...yes it's a guy mannequin head with a beard! hehe.

Anyone listen to Amber? She made her debut in 1996 with her Dance hit, "This is your night".
I have been a fan of hers since 1996, and since then I have collected all of her singles and albums. Here are just some of the singles and albums in my collection. One of them is signed! Actually two of them are signed. I also have a 33inch record of her song "If you could read my mind" from her self titled 1999 album "Amber". And it is also signed. It is because of her I got into Dance and Electronica music. She recently sent me a nice message on Instagram too. She's very nice and I was deeply excited!

I collect vinyl records. I don't have the adequate space to properly display all of them (at least not yet) so this is only about 40% of what I have. As you can see, they are heavily guarded by Diana, Princess of Themiscyra (aka Wonder Woman) LOL. The pictures on the wall are of my favourite singer, Mia Martina. It's my music section and I listen often, so why not have something nice to look at!
