Oh this is too too funny - we have this set in our house still and this exact coloured / shaped one is the one I use almost every day for my leftovers! I used it just a few hours ago in fact. If you want I can take pictures of the rest of the set - only if you're interested though.

I've had my Super Pot since the 70's, it still works too! I just made Spaghetti & Meatballs in it a few days ago.
You can even deep fry with it! I still have the recipe book that came with it and it gives you basic recipes like Chili, Goulash, Corn fritters and even popcorn! Pretty good for being over 30 years old. I like the retro orange enamel too.

I've always dug the old 50's-60's sunburst style wall clocks.
At my best friend's house in Nebraska back in the 70's, his parents had one of those clocks on their wall, and I always thought it was cool, even when I was little.
About 10-12 years ago I was hanging out with him in his mom's basement when I saw that clock lying on a pile of junk. I told his mom that I always liked that clock and asked her if I could buy it, and she said, "Oh, no, you can just have it, it works but the motor buzzes really loud, that's why I took it down." (It was an electric clock that actually had a cord coming out of the bottom so you could plug it in.)
I took it home and cleaned it up and plugged it in, and sure enough it made this annoying buzzing sound. So when I tried to take the motor out to maybe clean it up I wound up with a big pile of gears and stuff and I wasn't about to even try and reassemble it. However I also just happened to have another clock with a battery operated movement so I took it out, rigged it up to the old sunburst clock and it worked perfectly. No noise, and no cord. (One neat thing about the clock is that on the back it actually shows the year it was manufactured, which was 1963.)
When I moved down to Kansas City I took it with me, but at my first apartment it just sat in my closet the whole time. But when I moved into my current place I made up my mind that I'd get it up and running again, and now it hangs proudly over my entertainment center. ;)

Well, as most of you know I have been dilligently de-cluttering my house the past few weeks. I have managed to sell quite a bit of stuff that I no longer use! It has been great.
Yesterday, there was a huge Post Wide Yard Sale event, so a friend and I went touring around the communities, checking things out. I found the most gorgeous piece of Pyrex I have ever seen... and only paid $1 for it!!!!

So, to be clear, (although that pyrex dish is quite lovely) you cleaned out your old clutter to make room for new clutter? Excellent plan! ;)

And I know you are totally into it as well! I was thinking about you the entire time and looking through the stuff to see if there was any more you might like/want and I could send to you. Sadly, this one was the only one that was even worth anything. The others had chips and cracks in them, and some were broke right in half and she was still trying to get in the upwards of $5 for them! Silly lady! ::) ;D

http://img126.imageshack.us/i/p1030902.jpg/ I actually use this binder. From the 60's/70's era, my old neighbor gave it to me. Other people think it's gaudy but I love it ;D
http://img706.imageshack.us/i/p1030899.jpg/ This is an antique brooch (it's huge- definitely costume jewelry!) that I bought with a barrette glued to the back. So that pretty much screwed any value it would have had, but I like it.
http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/2847/p1030893.jpg An old textbook from one of the prairie schoolhouses around here bought at a fleamarket for 50 cents. It's falling apart, and it's a sixth/seventh year book from 1897.

A lot of it was old passages from Poetry books. Some was about Beethoven's life, and then there was some science and history (about the American Flag and the last fight of the Coliseum) :D
It has a lot of little portrait illustrations instead of photos of course.

So last week we celebrated my brother-in-law Roger's birthday, and my brother recommended I browse an antique store for a gift. Knowing Roger likes cars, Harley-Davidsons and beer, it made the search a little easier. As I was looking around I came across two 1970's-era Budweiser glass beer goblets. I remembered seeing these in bars when I was a kid and thought they were cool so I bought them for my brother-in-law:

He really liked them, and I immediately found myself wanting one of my own, so I hit up another antique store a week later and picked up two more for myself. An old friend had a party Saturday and I brought them over, gave him one and then immediately put mine to good use:

Those Budweiser glass goblets look very interesting. That would be something for me, even though I prefer American microbreweries ;)

I hope you didn't pay too much for them because you can get them on eBay for not too much. There was a set of 4 that went for about $26.

At the antique stores I went to I paid $5 for each of them, and I've seen them on eBay for about the same price. (Some sellers on eBay were asking for as much as $20 for one glass, but that's way overpriced in my opinion.)
Really I don't think these goblets seem to be all that uncommon or hard to find, and they'd make a nice, inexpensive gift for someone who's into retro stuff.

Yeah, $5 is a good price. And the fact that you really like them make it REALLY worth it. And no, they are not uncommon-but cool.
