You know how we always look for the great pictures of ourselves to post online? We skim over the ones that we think are absolutely horrid and choose the ones we think are the best. Well, wouldn't it be nice if we weren't so concerned about what other people think and we just posted any old picture of ourselves? (I know, you are thinking 'GAWD NO!"!! lol

Well, let me be the first to post a pic of me that is absolutely horrid.
Why am I doing this? Why not?

Hung over pic? Post it here. Fat day pic? Post it here. Kids dont know how to zoom the camera? Post it here. Totally caught off guard and didn't have enough time to pose so I got caught looking like an idiot? Post it here. ;D ;D

dude, band i'm in now is all shorties too. except, as in the old band, for the drummer (who's the dude with the big zappastache in that photo) -- cuz of course you wanna make sure your DRUMMER's tall.... since he's gonna be sitting.

but i'm definitely not the tallest in that picture. i think i'm probably the shortest, i'm the one with the yellow heart-shaped shades and hello kitty purse.

I don't think it's a bad pic at all. I've taken some pics where as I've gotten older my face looks grotesquely fat ;D and it's appalling.

Use Imageshack. You don't need to register an account....just upload the photo from your hard drive. It's what I use for everything.

Hey, I'm surprised you don't like this one - maybe it's just me, but I'd say you look alot like the circa 1991 Amy Grant here (although cuter, of course). ;) The black and white also enhances a sort of sophisticated/old-time look, too.

Everyone else's are good as well.

BTW, I think this stuff is more a matter of personal preference. Like, even if we knew someone else would enjoy it and it feels good if someone says "Nah, nothing wrong with this, I like it," if it wasn't a way we wanted to present ourselves, we can't help feeling dissatisfied with it.

Have you noticed, lots of songs that are big hits, are ones that the bands themselves weren't crazy about or thought it might just be a B-side instead of single? Same thing applies here. Pictures are a "part" of us, and in that it's got the potential to be judged by someone else. Just like a song or a movie is the "art" of whoever created it, so it's only natural to be protective of something that's "ours".

This was taken at work for some clothing area calculations we were doing. In theory it supposed to be a method of comparing the image of a naked person to the image of the same person clothed. I opted for skin tight clothing instead!

They are only 1 dimensional and it means nothing when you know or see the person to be able to judge.

A picture can say a thousand words, but how many more words can be said when you know the person in the flesh ?
