(Of course any song from that time period counts not just these certain songs. So if you want to do something obscure be my guest).
Here are the few rules that this contest has...
1. Make sure that your song has something to do with the topic (That's why it's there for)
2. Make sure your song is from that half decade (If you don't know ask)
3. Make sure that you get it done in the time limit given (Which is two weeks from today)
4. Make sure to post it here when it's uploaded on Amiright
5. Have fun with it

Would a parody about a completely insane video game series count as "strange and unusual"? Because then I'd finally have the motivation to finish my "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" parody about Banjo-Kazooie...
Otherwise my first instinct after reading the list is to parody "Pony" by Ginuwine and make it about the brony craze...

I dunno, I think killer life buoys trumps grown men enjoying a cartoon intended for little girls. Besides, it's hard to mock what you are...at least for me, anyway.

Gettin' Jiggies For It
Vid for "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It"
The picture is from the level "Banjoland" which is a mishmash of levels from the first two games. Still doesn't make sense, seeing as the snowman's hat is a snow-machine, there's a soccer field surrouned by Not-Stonehenge and there's a ship stuck in the wall...yeah, it's that kind of game. Hence why it so fits for Strange and Unusual.

I don't know what the official definition of "strange and unusual" means, but I think being such a lightweight drinker to the point that you throw up when you drink root BEER, is pretty weird.

I hated my old idea and scrapped it...and now am almost done with my new one. Haha...nothing like last minute, but you all know me! Even if it's not as grand as I'd hoped it would be, I'll get it as polished as possible and submitted by tonight, I promise.
