I dare anyone to try and parody "A Boy Named Sue" and have it be more funny than the original.
I'll think of somethin' to do...

As much as I'd like to see how "I Drink Everywhere" would match up head-to-head, I think I'm going to write a new parody for this round. :D
Update - I haven't had time to write a new parody for this round, so I guess it's gonna have to be http://www.amiright.com/parody/90s/johnnycash11.shtml.

Oooh...I love Johnny Cash! I'm thinking of converting "Ring Of Fire" to "Things Expire".

Artistry Competitors:
This is the original full recording of "Ring of Fire" ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lhf9U5Wf3Q&NR=1
...and I now see my parody will not pace to the performance. This could be a problem ... :(

Errrr... Dave. Having this contest end on a Sunday was kinda bad because nobody can post anything the day before in order for it to be on the site today. I think an extension should be in order for the people who couldn't possibly write something on Thursday night to be on the site Friday for it to be used today that's like 4 days that could have been used to write something new.
It was probably just a mistake of looking at the wrong date on the calender but bringing it to your attention nonetheless.

My parody of A Boy Named Sue is coming tomorrow. . .word of warning it is very very very odd, and contains a couple of twists. . .this one may be tough to pace if you try to do it word for word, you have to remember its spoken so pace it as such . . .more importantly don't try and skim this one or you'll miss it--this is going to make one very odd, very funny, recording when I get the chance.
