Hmm...tempted to go with "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" because it's sampled in a Kanye West song (Good Morning to be exact, track one off Graduation), but then I don't know the song by itself, just the 'ooh' bit that was sampled.

Of course, this leaves me with all the Elton John songs I know, which amount to all of Crocodile Rock and the Lion King one. May go with the former because the tempo fits with my giganto-mashup-project. Can't remember if I've said it before, but this project will result in a mashup that involves all 140 songs that I have parodied/going to parody...IN ONE TRACK. I'm splitting it into four main 'sections' for conveniences sake, but I'll still upload it as one track, all 40 or so estimated minutes of it.

I once wrote a parody of that song titled "Someone shaved my wife tonight". Ahh, if I still had those little bits of paper I wrote that on, some 20+ years ago.
