Top choice gets 5 points, next gets 4 points and so on to 1 point for your fifth favourite.

~~You're not allowed to vote for your own song.

~~Voting continues until the 22nd of March, 2010

~~By entering, you are agreeing to read and comment on all the other entries and vote.

~~Anyone who enters but does not both comment on all entries and vote by the deadline is disqualified and may not participate in the next event.

~~If you miss a submission deadline, you will not be entered in that event, but WILL be allowed to enter the next event.
However, there will STILL be an expectation that you comment and vote in the event you are not participating in, unless you have a valid reason for not being able to.

~Rule changes may be suggested by any participant in their entry post.  Changes are made only when a majority of that event's voters specify a "yes" vote along with their contest votes.

SCORING: Unlike PAOTY, scores for each Decathlon event are not cumulative. The winner of each event gets 9 Decathlon points, 2nd gets 8 and so on. This should make the contest very close throughout the next 20 weeks.

I call dibs on "That Boy Is A Monster" by Lady GaGa... Because that would work just perfectly for this round!

I'm tempted to try something by Iceman, but all their songs are in Japanese... oh well. I'll probably do something by Freezepop or Metro Station.

I think we need a clearer definition of the genre for this round. The name brings to mind artists like Daft Punk and Eiffel 65, but the list of artists are more pop and...stuff I don't know (and a random appearance from industrial group/guy NIN).

I must know, because it will determine whether I turn "My Love" into "My Butt!" or "One More Time" into "Ow! My Eyes!"

Both are open to work with.

I wrote a parody of the electronic rock song "Cars" by Gary Numan, it's called "Guts", and was heavily inspired by serial killer/vampire/cannibal Richard Trenton Chase. Thus, it'll surely fit in with this contest.  :)

Edit, 2/27/2010, 7:30pm PST: I was exceptionally busy yesterday, and didn't get the time to put the link up. In fact, I darn near forgot about it until Step-chan commented on my Decath Part 3/Round 10 entry parody, inspiring me to log onto InThe00s and post that link!  :)
