Voting deadline for ABC5(J/K) is midnight (amiright time)  Thursday July 23rd
No votes date-stamped after the voting deadline will be accepted - no exceptions


Vote by replying to this thread with your five favorites in order:

1st choice........5 points
2nd place.........4 points
3rd place..........3 points
4th place..........2 points
5th place..........1 point

or in algebraic terms, p = 6 - r    (p=points, r=rank)



RULES
- Any parody beginning with the current letter is eligible, except parodies that have been entered into ABC1 or ABC2 or ABC3
- You're not allowed to vote for your own parody
- Once you've posted a vote, you're not allowed to change it
- Anyone who's participated in any previous ABC contest may vote
- Any entrant who hasn't left a comment on all entries is disqualified and may not participate in the next letter
- Any entrant who doesn't vote by the voting deadline (above) is disqualified and may not participate in the next letter



ALSO
Under no circumstances will a vote that missed the voting deadline be accepted (even by 1 second)
However the resulting disqualification from entry to the next ABC4 comp may be over-ruled, if you do the following...

  1.  Post an "appeal" on this thread giving your excuse for missing the deadline, and plead for mercy
  2.  If your plea wins the sympathy of 3 other entrants your disqualification from the next round will be overturned
        Your late votes will still not count though 
        (if less than 4 entrants in the comp, only 2 sympathetic "Thumbs Ups" are required)

1 Point to Lady Vampire by Red Ant (Topic and Song--been there seen that, but as usual you put a spin I hadn't seen on it,  Simplistic, maybe, but it made me laugh, which I needed, thank you for that)

2 Points to Lola by Stu McArthur (Hard to believe such a great parody isn't 1 or 2 on my list, it's just one of those rounds where a lot of people were on their game, classic Stu, enjoyed it as always)

3 Points to Let's Get Large by Invisible Boy (Not only is this friggin hilarious, the original artist so fits this parody to a T.  Jennifer Lopez is an easy to underestimate target, but you make her look easy. . .ah, yeah, I don't know if that pun was intended, but awesome work)

4 Points to Loch Star by TCOP (You really did a number on this one TCOP, the rhyming and comedy were there, and to a topic that shouldn't work--this is how to do an Epic 40, original, unique, different and funny, well done)

5 Points to Lose Your Health by Agrimorfee (I could be nit-picky on rap-rhyming, sure things would have to be fine tuned, but push comes to shove, this one shined Agri, despite it's mini-flaws it was a very well done, and it was funny, to a song that has been hit heavy by Weird Al, personally I felt your idea was more original, and indeed more humorous, then the parody king's take on this OS, simply put: phenomenal)

I would normally be surprised at this amount of points, but given that my entry got a silver SOTM medal, I'm not that surprised ;D.

Also HOLY CRAP I KNOW OVER HALF OF THE ORIGINAL SONGS. That's an UNNATURAL occurence, ladies and gentlemen. Seriously.

Congrats to you Ag and you Stu and to you COP - Ya got me with those 5 votes to break that tie.  I'm happy for you.  I am surprised that my entry finished as high as it did since a Bo-Rhap took the gold last round and I had a bum line or two in the lyrics..  Thanks everyone for making it a challenge to place votes in this competiton.   No loser entries in this round.  See you all and Mike Hunt in the next round.  ;D The gangsters are on vacation to an undislosed location next round.

There's the whole sympathy vote thing, I feel you honestly forgot, I say as long as you comment on the songs you've never commented on before for the L round, there's no need for the normal two round DQ, you've got my vote as long as you do the comments, I think it's three votes to get the sympathy card. . .you've got one from me
