Song Of The Month Contest
~~Entries begin after the last parody update of the month.
~~Any song that is posted on AmiRight during the contest month (this year) is eligible.
~~To enter, reply to this thread with the url of your entry.
~~On the eighth day of the month, entries close and voting begins.
~~Vote by replying to voting thread with your five favorites in order:
Top choice gets 5 points, next gets 4 points and so on to 1 point for your fifth favourite.
~~You're not allowed to vote for your own song.
~~Once you've posted a vote, you're not allowed to change it.
~~Voting continues until the last day of the month ends.
~~Anyone who's participated in a SOTM contest past or present may vote.
~~By entering, you are agreeing to read and comment on all the other entries and vote.
~~Anyone who enters but does not both comment on all entries and vote before the end of the month is disqualified and may not participate next month, and the votes they gave are canceled.
~~When the new month begins, the first person to enter the next contest may copy this message and start the new entry thread with it.
~~Rule changes may be suggested by any participant in their entry post. Changes are made only when a majority of that month's voters specify a "yes" vote along with their contest votes.

I only had one May parody, and it went under the radar, which is weird because TOS is so popular, so classic.
In "Rob Zombie Went Down to Georgia," I vent about the recasting of Daeg Faerch as Young Michael Myers with Chase Wright Vanek, something I've vented about many times, but this is the first vent I've done in song.

I kept going back and forth on whether or not to skip my first month since joining inthe00s (I have plenty of qualified entries for this month), I ultimately have decided that after the effort in last month's entry--I am a bit deflated, I really respect everyone's work, I think my comments and attention to detail in my comments have shown that, but I'm shifting focus on to Artistry and ABC, and taking a break from the Song of the Month. . .sorry guys, good luck everyone--I may still vote, I just don't want to compete in it anymore. . .

Can somebody PLEASE enter the voting thread for this because I'm going to be pretty busy the next few days... Today's my Birthday, Tomorrow I'm working all day, Thursday I'm checking out a college in southern Ohio, Friday I'm working and Saturday and Sunday I'm having my Birthday Party. So... If somebody can do this for me I would apperciate it!
