Meow!  Woof!  Roar!  Whinny!  Baa!  Squeak!  Ribbit!  I felt in this round there was one outstanding song and the rest were pretty good, giving spots 2 to 5 a pretty tight run!

You might say this round was kind of "Ruff!"  (groan!)  :P

That was a hell of a round to judge. . .all 7 parodies in this one were up for consideration . . .I am very sorry that I had to cut two. . .

Ultimately HM to 2nz (loved it, wish there was a little more to put this over the top though--good parody) and The Conqueror of Parodies (Wish there were more than just biting, like Arwen's many examples on Cats, but mate--this one would have made it in most rounds for me) , it was a tough decision, but given the quality of the round. . .

1 Point to Jeff Reuben  (Very clever idea, and well executed, the recording really added to this one)

2 Points to Matthias (Vivid imagery, despite the boring OS, you made it work)

3 Points to Invisible Boy (Despite it not really sounding 90s at all, the vivid idea of each character eaten, and the sheer maximization of each line was brilliant)

4 Points to Arwen (Tough call for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, this was fantastic Arwen, you really made use of Meatloaf's ridiculously long song (typical of him) and carried it with great imagery, rhyming and singability)

5 Points to Melanie Lee (easily the best parody you've done to date, while it was a coin flip more or less between you and Arwen, as much as I loved Arwen's, I felt yours was a not-so-subtle hit on racism, and still cute and funny to those who don't see that--so on all accounts, this was a terrific parody, and in my opinion, your best work to date)
