I have one question and maybe it has been addressed already.  Is there a FUCA award in this contest?  I've been off the circuit for a few months so I may have missed something concerning FUCA and SOTY.

Is it required to comment on every parody? Or does one just have to read them all?

I say we have a recount... Seeing that the Wildcard didn't pass this year might be incentive enough to have a "FUCA of the Year" instead.

Because back then the FUCA was a new idea, and we actually had people participate in the Wildcard... I think for 2009 we should have a "FUCA of the Year"

Well I'd be willing to do a "Mutha FUCA of 2008", I just can't do anything as to inclusion of the winners in the 08 SOTY process, though that is something that can certainly be suggested for 2009 in any entry thread, but right now there's already a rule change suggestion this month, that might be a good issue for next month.

Sorry for being out of the loop at the moment guys, too many issues AFK, but since I just updated the FUCA winners thread and at least plan to vote for SOTY sometime this month I might jump in here with my two cents. I'm with BAD on the explanation that it would be too much too expand the SOTY field even further and would like to add that all SOTY winners so far have been SOTM gold medal winners to start with. Sooner or later we will probably have a silver or even a bronze medal winner grow on us to win the gold in SOTY, or a whole monthly field also take the medals in SOTY, but I can't really see it happen beyond theory that a FUCA winner would make the podium in SOTY, beating out 36 34 previous medalists. Am I right?

Alright. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the song that much. Thank you all, and it's an honor to be in all of your company. A special congratulations to Dave for continuously being epic, and to Invisible Boy for his continuously quality work.

I am very tired currently. I just returned from a sci-fi convention where I got to perform Oxymorons for the first time in front of some other performers. It's a bit rough without any backing music, but I think it went well and they enjoyed it. My reservation was always that it was a solid written work but that an audio version would strip away a lot from it. I guess we'll see, I'll have to try it again in the future.

Thank you all again for the honor, and for an excellent year. Glad to be able to join some of the tourneys in the last quarter of it.

Thanks all for my 3d place finish. My little "Vegas" saga has been very good to me. And, for the record, it all started with Agri's challenge. So, Agri, thanks for that.
