Hilary Duff's "Fly"



    Karaoke Revolutionized is an ongoing project that allows parodists the opportunity to parody popular songs that they wouldn't ordinarily take a look at, especially the older folks on this site who generally stick to 60's and 70's hits. This project follows the famous games that allow players to sing along to their favorite songs, using microphones that hook up to the Playstation 2. Usually all big top Billboard hits, with on the rare occasion a few exceptions.

This week's song is "Fly" by the artist Hilary Duff

A little information on Hilary Duff...

- Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28, 1987) is an American actress, pop singer-songwriter and entrepreneur.

- After working in local theater plays and television commercials in her childhood, Duff gained fame for playing the title role in the television series Lizzie McGuire.

- Their hits include...
    - "So Yesterday"
    - "Come Clean"
    - "Little Voice"
    - "Fly"

A little information on the song, "Fly"...

- Duff has described it as "an uplifting song in the face of all the negativity going around these days. It's about how people are scared to open up and show who they are inside because they're afraid of what others are going to say".

- Blender magazine said the song is "Urgent and theatrical" and "sounds like Evanescence—but the inspirational lyrics are pure Duff
