My parody would've been up today...but AmiRight didn't update. Which is irritating. Should be up tomorrow.

What's also irritating is the way the date is set out...being Aussie, I'm used to having it Day/Month/Year, but for whatever reason the American way is Month/Day/Year. When I noticed that today was the 7th (here anyway), I thought I was gonna run out of time! Gave me a bloody heart attack, that did. Then I realized the date-setup-bizzo I outlined before. Then came the next heart attack.

Why do Americans put the month before the date? It makes no sense.

Matthias has the habit of changing topics and OS frequently. And now it seems that him and I have parodied the same OS (The Reflex). Which usually ends in tears (my tears, that is, cuz all times that someone else and I have parodied the same OS, their version always seem to garner more points). Which is irritating.

Why?  'Cause we do.  To me, the Aussie way doesn't make sense.  Don't know offhand why the date formats developed the way they did, or why they're different for us.  Other than, we tend to be stubbornly independant (screw the Metric System, soccer, and everything else popular elsewhere), and we just like doing things a bit differently.  ;)

And I'm pretty sure the original date was July 7, and was updated at some point this weekend to the 10th.

Well, the only idea I had for this round was a Starbucks/coffee related topic to "Hungry Like A Wolf".  When he said he had one already, I went looking through other Duran songs, and came up blank.  I thought I was going to have to bow out for this artist.

I might be changing my mind again... I looked over "The Kleenex" and scrapped it.... I ought to not post what I have in mind on here.

Most people have learned to ignore what I post, because my mind changes way too many times for me to actually stick with something.
