Yeah, There is many subgenres that ska fits under, Reel Big Fish is a mix of Third Wave Ska, and Ska-Punk, the song that you've heard is "Take On Me", Dave oopsied up the title of that in the thread.
The song "Take On Me" is by a band called A-Ha, Reel Big Fish did a cover of it, and that's fine to do, because in the Bangles round, Dave did a remake of Simon and Garfunkles "Hazy Shade Of Winter", and covers apparently work for Artistry.

I personally see a "Reel Big Stove" in the near future, because this is one of my favorite bands of all time. (Cookie cutter or not).

I already have a parody for A-Ha's Take On Me, could I somehow maybe, oh I don't know, change some lines, a little nip and tuck, and submit it under this artist? Otherwise, I got nothing. I did sort of the same thing for the Disney round, using Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out For A Hero for the Shrek version. I know some of you may not like that, so I don't have to do this one.

Listen to some of their stuff, and see in insperation hits. They're really an awesome band.

Covers are acceptable. . .so yes, but it must be submitted under the Reel Big Fish, but sure you could do that, but it would need to be submitted under Reel Big Fish, and it's been awhile since I've listened to either, so if you're real lucky you may not have to change much

I'm actually getting a bunch of ideas for this one...

Here are a few of my ideas (Feel free to use one of these Aggy)

1. "Wood Thing" to "Good Thing": Gepetto turns out to be a horny old man and uses Pinocchio's nose for... you know...
2. "My Evil Hand": to "Don't Start A Band": A good old fashioned tribute to the movie "The Evil Dead"
3. "Baggage Check" to "Average Man": A mockery of Airport Security
4. "Bug The Mall Cop" to "Ban The Tube Top": Your average Mall Rat theme song
5. "Clear Up" to "Cheer Up": The tale about what Harry Potter should be using the Invisiblity Cloak for

The only thing that came to mind for "Party Down" was something in tribute to famed "little person" Billy Barty. (Willow, Foul Play, Legend, various Sid & Marty Krofft TV productions)
