This is my 2nd month as host. . .thank you for continuing to allow me to host the prestigeous contest.

~~In the event of a tie, the parody with the most first place votes wins.
If it's still tied, the parody with the most second place votes wins.
If it's still tied, a brief playoff round will be held.
All participants will have the first week of the month to choose one favorite from among the tied entries.
Tiebreaker voting is strongly encouraged but not required. On the eighth day the one with the most votes wins.

~~Any entrant whose votes don't show a timestamp prior to midnight on the last day of the month (ie. according to the "inthe00's meantime" clock as it appears BEFORE you log in - not a timezone corrected version) is disqualified, without exception.

This month might IMHO have been the closest we've had to a photo finish, I had eight parodies lined up and a headache building up from telling them apart from each other at all and that's why it took a week from finishing commenting before I managed to decide on the following list.

Believe it or not, there is only 2 Honorable Mention for me this time. . .
Agrimorfee--Amazing feat taking on Desolation Row, but maybe it's just that OS, it drags on and on nauseatingly and even though I love the idea, and I did get into it. . .and to Phil Alexander same thing. . .I hope you guys don't get too mad at me for that, but I just get lost in that song . . .and it was hard for me to get into the humor. . .buit I thought both were paced wonderfully, and it pained me, but I had to be honest and give the points to the ones that made me laugh the most.  .  .

That Said,

5th, Wannabemustangjockey (1 Point) While in honesty I think I found the song a bit on the sad side, and I do stand by my opinion of Verse 2, the first and third verse were fantastic and the concept was so unique from you that I ended up putting it in my top 5.

4th, Stu McArthur (2 Points) This was a sensible decision, based on research and knowledge of the OS:)  Actually the darn Scissor Line really stuck in my head. . .scissorable . .nothin' like making up words to add to humor. . .

3rd, Matthias (3 Points) I am not a huge fan of Harry Potter, but know quite a bit about it from my family in St. Louis (my little brother is obsessed with it) . . .The main thing that kicked this one into 3rd was the sheer brilliance of turning a happy bouncy broad-way performance into a Dark Dreary Comedy. . .Not an easy thing to do, though you probably would have gotten my 5 points if you had parodied the spoken parts (for me, if I parody a performance (IE Poor Unfortunate Souls), I have to parody the spoken parts that take place during the song to make it work right). . .

2nd Kristof Robertson (4 Points) I hope this story never becomes my Mother's story. . .honestly this one was hilarious and to "Your Song" I just couldn't stop laughing start to finish. . .in most months this would have probably won my 5 points, however. . .

1st Red Ant (5 Points) This one made me laugh even harder. . .I was here when you first came up with the idea, though the original lyrics never would have made it onto AmIRight, the "clean" version (if you can call it that:)-Don't Ask Jonathan S) loses very little if any humor. . .the nuts in Cryogentic Stages really put this one over the top--even more so than when you did it improtu in my 'studio'
