See, this time, I actually have ideas. Now it's just a matter of completing a song.
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus - I Saw Teacher Kiss the Principal
Sh-Boom - Home Room
Rock Around the Clock - Cram Around the Clock
and the one I'm probably going to write
Sixteen Tons - Sixteen Creds

I've got a killer idea (mainly cuz I'm also in school :P). It's a parody of 'Rock Around The Clock'. And it's called...'Eye Upon The Clock'! Figure out THAT one!

When I went back to my ideas, I scrapped Sixteen Creds (might go back to it later) because the idea of I Saw Teacher Kiss the Principal struck me funnier.

Nope, I don't mind. If I minded, I'd keep my ideas to myself. At least I got to choose which of my ideas to run with before you posted your song (would have been embarrassing if I went with Home Room as well) :)

I just submitted "Test Is Full Of X's." And I must say, that was one of the most fun parodies I've ever written! ;D
Oh, and here's the version of "Yellow Rose Of Texas" that I used for my pacing: click

Unfortunately the whole thing posted as a link, which kinda sucks because it's one of my best parodies to date. . .I spent a lot of time correcting it, checking it and making it just perfect to end strong. . .and then I left an </a> tag out of the intro that made the whole thing link to Soundclick. . .so I will provide an alternative set of lyrics here on the board too so that those who have trouble reading it can still read it. . .as it is the parody, not the link, that should be considered ::)
Anyhow, here's the video I used to parody That's Amore, one of the toughest early 50's songs to do, and there are so many versions of it, pacing is a nightmare if you don't have the right one, I haven't performed it yet though--long list ahead of it still. . .here's the OS I used
