Well...this one's a bit easier. :)
I promise that Round 5 is the only one I'll sit out, so I'll try my hardest to whip up something. After all, I have Spring Break all next week!

Well. . .Conq, there are lots of great late 70s songs you could write a 'similar' parody to. :)

Dave, No worries my Ages Song is going to make up for the burden I've given you in the Parody Challange....
Yes, I myself am going to redo my horrible parody that I once did of "Bat out of Hell" with a new one for this competition titled, "Batman Fought Hell"

Alright, got it. It may irritate Cat, but tough biscuits.
It's a parody of 'The Gambler' by Kenny Rogers, and it's called 'The Transfan'. It's about me talking to a TransFan on MSN, and he's whinging about the film, how the Transformers were his favourite cartoon when he was a kid, and he thinks that this will be another failed superhero movie. Then I block him.
Or something like that.

I had the same problem -- I wanted to do my Scooby Doo song to "Waterloo", but that was released in '74.

I just finished "Batman Fought Hell" and I'm quite impressed with it
It mocks the campiness of the plot and characters in Batman
The Batman Movies themselves
And EVEN the movie process itself
(Yes, it can be considered a cliche' parody like "Full Graveyard of Cliche'd Screams")

Okay. 'The TransFan' was just too hard to stray from the original lyric.
But...
Everyone's always talking about superHEROES. But what about those poor superVILLIANS who get tossed in the slammer every episode?
Expect this entry to be Barry - er, very unique.
It's a parody of 'Copacabana'. Get used to it.

Try any song with the word "Love" in the title. The purposeful non-rhyme is humorous IMHO.

Dang! All this 70s cheese...we need a little new wave in the mix!
Expect "Watching Disney" to Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer" in a few days...it is cartoons, after all!

Mmm...cheese...
Anyways, I've changed my mind AGAIN and am now doing "Fever Of Love" by Sweet. It's okay, I've got a vid lined up.
And guess what I'm turning it into? None other than 'Curious George'!
EDIT: And here it is:
