It's way, way cool that you are taking the time to do it, but if you keep doing what you are doing, you're gonna get 100 pages length, which won't help anyone! :o
Why not just Modify the first page with your updates, so it's like a little billboard?

. . .I wish there was a way to make this a sticky to the top and I'd just keep updating it and not have to post to keep it refreshed towards the top. . .
Post a message to Chucky in the board (if you haven't already)

Just a reminder/warning to my fellow Americans...Daylight Savings Time is going in to effect this weekend (spring forward!). Some computers might not adjust accordingly, due to the decision to run the process 3 weeks earlier, so some internal clocks might be off. Don't miss your deadlines!

Great idea for a thread here, Dave. I'll sticky it for you.

I've come to the conclusion, Dave, that with your "go get 'em" attitude, organisational skills, and ability to come up with great ideas, there's only one career direction for you:

Then again, considering who's got the job at the moment....maybe not :)
Great work on this, dude.

I just noticed this thread and Dave's very impressive and very ambitious web site. I understand why Matthias (and others) would like these lists to be updated, but I vote for leaving them just the way they are. It doesn't get any better than being in the top 10 between Kristof Robertson and Stuart McArthur. I am fairly certain that if, and when, Dave updates the list, Kristof and Stuart are #1 and #2 and I am out of the top 100.
So, Dave, I know you have a lot of other projects going on. I don't know how you do as much as you do, but I would encourage you to do anything but update this list.;)

LOL well, the good news about this John, is all of your history, as well as that of all the parodists will be historically maintained in a way never before seen on AmIRight:) it's a huge project, but the best thing about all of this is when I do get caught up (Which may be awhile) anyone who wants to check their history can do so, they can see how they did in contests past and present and track their progress as a contestant in different contests, thanks for the compliment buddy, Hopefully we'll see you in contests again soon, during all of this research I've seen your old work, and I'd like to be able to add my name to your fan list on the sites:)

Cool work, Dave. Something you could mention on your site is that 2004 SOTM had a 3 point system instead of the 5 it's had since 2005 - I estimate Spaff's points would be ~200 higher than they are if the 5 point scale was used in 2004, and that's not counting all the 4th and 5th place votes he could have picked up.
Other prominent 2004 authors would be similarly affected as well.

Where did you get the idea and the figures for the stats?

Idea, well I was doing it for Artistry already. . .so I thought to combine all the other contests, the stats are from combining the actual votes (not the original totals, although they generally match)

Guys, after researching AmIRight SOTM March 2005 for almost a week, and recounting over and over, I've come to the conclusion that there we're significant point changes, though for the most part I've not posted them here because they are SO SLIGHT that they are hardly even noticeable, in this particular month there were A LOT of them. . .I found two noticeable issues
1: MooRocca's vote is not here, I've noticed that about several forums, but the point totals reflected being off by one voter (as in 15 points off between all people, one 5, one 4, one 3, one 2 and a single point vote)
2: Dumb A$$ Kid voted but didn't have to, I am assuming his vote did not count in the actual totals. . .
Well that works somewhat, because Spaff is short 5 points by my calcuations--that'd mean MooRocca probably voted him 1st
Jeff Reuben was short 4 points, naturally must have been her 2nd place vote
Claude Prez was short 3 points, so he must have been her 3rd place vote
Charlie Decker was short 2 Points, which would put him as her 4th place choice
Rick Cormier is short 1 Point, so I put him as her 5th place vote
MooRocca's commentary is in the thread, but her vote was missing, this is one of several months I've noticed that on, does anyone know why her votes are gone on some threads? It really threw a wrench in the math for me. . .I've already tossed the voting per person thing, because of several months like this, but verifying the math is important, several months are off by points here or there, and I want the history site to be accurate. . .Anyone who knows of other months where votes may be missing, please let me know here so that I don't spend extra time trying to figure out what happened to points, when clearly someone deleted their vote, that way I can get your guy's sites up faster. . .thanks
