I've recently been kicking around a parody album idea of the Beatles's White Album, entitled the "White Trash Album"...
Anybody is welome to particpate in this contest, actually help is direly needed seeing that there are about 30 songs in this entire album, and seeing that I'm no John A Barry I would finish this album some time in the next 10 years...
No, it's not really a song parody "contest" parsay, it's more like what Stuart McArthur did with Brangelina, and Pirates Who Penstanzas
Because when this is all set in stone and finished I shall write a screenplay to it using all of these songs
It will be called "White Trash Story", or something else that one of you can come up with the title is not the important thing right now...
Right now the important thing is to get these 30 songs completed, which may take awhile

Great idea, Matthias. I've done #7, 15, 25, and 29 already, though only 7 and 29 could possibly be worked into a White Trash story.

Actually, I just put those out there for other parodists to think about doing... I'm planning to write just the one parody, to "Back In The USSR". So if you want to do Roadkill Raccoon, then by all means go ahead.

That's even easier than my 2nd "Why Don't We Do It In The Road", which took me 4 minutes to write (not the album entry though; that's yet to be written). You might have to put some filler in there or submit the next track too; parodies under 10 lines of text usually don't get allowed.

I wouldn't call this (or any of other Rutles song) a direct parody of a Beatles song. Their stuff is more a parody of the Beatles' various styles, and some of their songs stand up very well on their own. I love "Another Day," for example, which borrows the style of "Martha My Dear."
But anyway. I'll work on "My Will" to "I Will." And, fwiw, my to-do list includes "Everybody Got Some from Your Bride Except For Me and I'm Lucky" (even though it's not needed here).

However...I would like to put a foot forward towards "ruralizing" the proposed Journey To Reality/Revolution 9 parody if no one else will do it. It seems like something should be done to make it more relevant to the Redneck theme.
At the very least, let me take a look at it by tomorrow morning and will let you know if I feel I can put the Cousin Agrimorfee Y'all touch on it. ;)

True it doesn't have that certain Rural Moteif to it, but the Acid Trip goes well with my "Hippies" song to "Piggies", and it has Characterization in it.

DONE! In the end I went with "Whine, Britney, Whine"...about everybody's favourite white trash singer. Should be up on today's new submissions. You could slant the story towards Arkansas Al's little bearded daughter wanting to grow up to be like Mrs Federline...if y'all wanted to... ;)

After reading "Whine Britney Whine", I have just realized there is one more song in the cycle to complete....sorta.
Somebody should do the "Brother can you take me back" lines that appear on the LP, just after "Cry Baby Cry" and just before "Revolution 9". :D Well, maybe Matthias can do something like that when the whole album is presented on the board. It wouldn't make sense to submit this as an actual parody, as it has only 2 real lines (unless you really expanded your rhyme/pace expertise to 10 lines or more!)

I ripped off so many things in this parody I'll be happy if I'm not sued by at least 50 people, I'll try to add more in the editing state, maybe rip off Lord of the Rings by making one of Al's chillun a Golem-like figure.
As for Star Wars, and Indiana Jones.... Hmmm.... I'll figure something out, prizes go to anybody who can match up the amount of things I ripped off at the end of the production
