That's funny...I was just thinking that the SOTM is noticably smaller than it once was...I can remember the number of entries being regularly over twenty...and sometimes in the mid to upper twenties...

Oh well...I'll take it as getting off easy... ;)

Back in the days when I submitted more than once every three months, and dinosaurs roamed the earth, SOTM was getting about 25 per month.  I have noticed that this year it's been more in the teens (number of songs, not the age of the contestants).

I have narrowed it down to my Top Five, but I don't know which order I want to put them in. I am in the ranking process, and it's so difficult because they were all such great parodies. But in the end, only one parody can win.

The link is OK but it doesn't seem to work all the time. I noticed the other day that it didn't work, held of a day to check again before taking any action and then it DID work. Right now it's down again. :\'(

I can only speculate that it's located on a server with limited daily bandwidth, or something like that. :(

Josh, all of us are busy and don't have much time. However, IMO part of entering these contests is a commitment to make that time.  I have worked close to 40 hours overtime this past month and had numerous Internet problems that prevented me from doing anything online for more than 10 minutes at a time. In addition, I also celebrated a birthday, a wedding anniversary, did a ton of yardwork, etc, and still found time to vote.

What I'm trying to say is that you still have over 7 hours left to vote. I know you have crummy Linux and can't d/l songs, and even if you don't know ANY of the songs here, try to vote them on their writing merit alone.

Yeah come on, you've commented on each many of them (EDIT sorry), and that's more than half the battle completed!

Come on you guys, give him a break.  I mean, I'd be happy to have him work it in...but if he can't, at least he's big enough to let us know ahead of time...I appreciate his honesty.
