Claude - I think I weighed in on the "tie-breaker" scheme you laid out above, but if you missed it I cast one vote IN FAVOR of the proposed tie-breaking procedure outlined herein.  It's a very clean, crisp and fair way to handle it.

I almost changed my votes when I realized these are the same three authors I chose last month.  You know, spread the wealth around, make other people happy.  But screw that, these are my honest favorites, though there were several that were very close behind.
