I was tempted to enter "Peter Played With The PP's" but Mer and Pip just did that with "Letter "B"" So I'm going with "Pillsbury dough" to another Peter. (Gabriel)

This is my P entry. It is my personal favorite. A parody of the two-step rap song "Tipsy" by J-kwon. I call it "Pepsi"

WARNING: If you are a Coca-Cola person, you will be SERIOUSLY ticked off by this parody.

I have other P songs that stand a much better chance of at least getting an honorable mention, but this one never picked up any ratings or comments, so I'm going to trot it out, instead:
http://www.amiright.com/parody/90s/hum0.shtml
There is a sound file on the producer's website (in other words, it's a legally webbed copy) The direct link to the sound file is: http://www.playgroundstudio.com/mp3/Stars-256.mp3
Hum was a one hit wonder that came from my neck of the woods.. a tiny, fleeting blip on the radar screen... but, if you listened to radio stations that played Dishwalla, Dead Eye Dick, Bush, Gin Blossoms, Marcy Playground, Tonic, Presidents of the USA, Our Lady Peace, Better Than Ezra, etc. in the mid 90s, you'll probably recognise the song. If not, you probably won't.

Is it too late to enter the "P" round? If it is NOT too late I'd like to jump back in and see if I can handle the reading/voting obligations better this time around.ÂÂ
Parody: "Pre-Road Thumbs" based on the Crosby, Stills & Nash song "Pre-Road Downs" from their debut album in 1969
http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/crosbystillsnash20.shtml
OH...even though I don't have a "Q" parody I guess I could handle that round if no one else has stepped forward yet. I guess the entries for that would start Monday, 08/23/2004 and close Sunday night, 08/29/2004. Then the voting would be until the following Sunday, 09/05/2004. If that's not correct would someone please clue me in - if I'm gonna do it I'd really like to know what I'm doing and not screw it up.
Thanks,
pr

I have to leave in a minute (literally, a minute.) When I get back, I'll format your entry and add it to the P round voting thread. Yours is the last one I'm adding -- I'm officially closing the entries for the P round.
Thanks for taking on Q round -- (know what you mean about wishing you knew what you were doing!)
Thanks to Rick for doing the Tally-O :)
Gotta dash

Back for a few minutes -- Got you added to the P round Paul. I'll be in and out like this, all day, and I'm trying to do about 50 things at once on this stop, so if I screwed it up, let me know and I'll get it fixed as soon as I can, OK? Ok. :)
Mel.
