Though I avoid the political, my vote goes to Martha Dtox for doing an amazing job with an impossible Lehrer song. This was one of her first, and I reread my early notes. This was a strange round, with a lot of educational/insightful stuff. I also wanted to vote for Adagio and Agri, both not so funny but great.

i can vote even though i didn't enter this round right? if so my vote is for A Room Full of Monkeys. "One guy song" seriously good lyrics in there.

I've kind of had to rush through reading the bottom half of the list as I'm going to be off for a few days in about half an hour, but I reckon nobody comes close to Martha's incredible Enron essay to one of my favourite Tom Lehrer songs.  #10

Hey look at this, I actually made the deadline!

As it stands now by my count, we have a three way tie between Martha, Johnny, and me. We need a vote from Ethan and neminem to hopefully break it, But Armstrong voted and did not enter (Not one of the three ties) I personally want to thank Ethan for managing this up til now, I know I don't want to take over, although I might help. The "Q" round should be easier, not everyone has that letter. And thanks MooRocca, for chipping in.

It was a fun song to write..the outcome of a request from Frank Partnoy (new book"Infectious Greed" ..very well worth reading ...it is a. superb analysis of recent US financial history and economics)) for some whimsical commentary to his book. I write the verse before I saw the book .. which takes a very interesting line on the subject .. the verse was written based on Frank's earlier testimony to a Congressional Committee....

the original trigger for the song was the word Watergate.. it just wrote itself after that really!
