I'm getting my voting done early this week! Have to go with Ethan yet again, #1, Jeez I'm a Nerd
My runner-up was Joelle's song, because it was clever and it explained the who Madonna name changing thing for me.

Having read through them both a couple more times, I'm going with "Jenny Craig", #2 - mainly because I had no idea who/what Jenny Craig was, but that didn't really matter, it became obvious as the song went along.... it's not easy writing a song with inside jokes that are also accessible to the uninitiated.

I know it looks like payback since I just saw Phil's vote, but I'm going with vicious this time around. "Janet, Put Your Bun Away" made me laugh. I haven't been commenting as much lately because I've been busy and working on a big project.

Ethan, I well know that feeling of just missing out, or coming in second. I hate it, too. It's why I usually don't enter drawings or popularity type contests. But once I start something, I have to see it through. If it's any consolation, I thought you were a shoo-in. Thanks everybody. "Jenny" was one of my earliest efforts, and I've learned a whole lot about this "art" from all you people since. One of my mottos since elementary school (when I played second violin) has been: I don't mind playing second fiddle, as long as I'm part of the orchestra. And this is a pretty entertaining band.
