Hey all. It's been over a decade since I last posted a parody. I'd like to change that this year but we'll see.
I have really great memories of this site and the author community. It holds a special place in my heart. I have two boys now (7 and 10), and a great wife. Life has been good to me. But I've always been thankful that I found this community when I did in 2003.
Anyway, miss you all and I hope you have good lives and are doing what makes you happy. Also, well done making it through that pandemic a few years ago. That was weird, right?

Welcome back! I think I remember you. Parody ideas are slow coming to me nowadays, too. I usually don't actively think about it anymore, but when inspiration strikes...

Philip and Nally, I remember you both as well. I know we didn't interact directly much, but thanks to both of you for contributing so much to these forums over the years. Even flaky guys like me can appreciate that.
ChrisBodily, great to still see you around. I remember you from the contests back in the day. I agree, the more time goes by, the harder it is to find good ideas. Anyway, here's hoping both of us find a good idea soon. I should probably write a lord of the rings parody to a Beatles song. I always liked parodying Beatles stuff because of its catching ss and strong, fun rhyme scheme. And LOTR was one of my go-to subjects back in the day.
