Subject: Weird Al Revisited Project

I'm a bit too far into using Weird Al as a source for my own parodies (only got twelve left, though kudos on unintentionally using my same method of "every parody on a commercially available album", though you did miss You're Beautiful with that method) to join you, but I'm sure as hell gonna flop some ideas down like a fresh fish! Don't ask me where I got that simile from.
Blurred Lines - Headlines
Stop Draggin' My Heart Around - Think Jurassic Park's Unsound
The Right Stuff - I Like Gump
Ruthless People - Phantom Menace
Gangsta's Paradise - Gaga's Paradise
Give It Away - Fix Up My Drain
Baby Don't Forget My Number - Barney, Give Me Back My Pebbles
Lump - D'oh!
La Bamba - Nirvana
Girls Just Want To Have Fun - I Hate The Brady Bunch
Piano Man - Ed McMahon
It's All About The Benjamins - It's All About The Gilligan
Jack & Diane - Damn Spider-Man
Happy - I Love Lucy
Mony Mony - Yoda, Yoda
Radioactive - Pac-Man's Addictive
Confessions Part II - Jeopardy Part II
I Think We're Alone Now - I Love the Flinstones Now
Eye of the Tiger - I Need a Plumber
There, I think that's every "parody about a specific media" reassigned, plus a bonus Robin Thicke and the two-more-songs-than-topics issue taken care of. Good luck!

Since you're the #1 WAY fan here on AiR, and mostly out of curiosity, is there a fixed ratio of covers to originals on his albums? Since not all American hits make it over here I can't keep track (no pun intended), for one I thought "Trigger Happy" that I wrote a parody to not long ago was a cover, but it's not on your list unless I am unable to spot the original's original name among them.

I don't know the ratio but I'd say half originals/ half parodies with 1 polka medley tossed in is the usual equation for a Weird Al Yankovic album

I did this same thing six years ago. :)
Tacky (Fancy)
Handy (Happy)
Good luck with it. :) I have an idea beyond the scope of this challenge -- the Shining version of "Here's Johnny." ;D

It's generally 6 original songs, 4/5 parodies and 1 polka medley, though the 1st and 5th albums have lack the medley, replacing it with 2/1 original songs respectively. Also UHF has a coupla skits. Also also Trigger Happy is an original song in the style of the Beach Boys and Jan & Dean.

Thanks COP!
I'm doing one more of those style type no particular exact song parodies, since (I've googled) "Slime creatures from outer space" is apparently one such inspired by Thomas Dolby.
"Slight crazy from quarantine" has been submitted for tomorrow.

Here is the wiki on every Al song. Just read the composer credits to figure out what are parodies or originals..

There's really one ONE thing about "Star Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace" worth mocking so...
"The Saga Begins" is going to be combined with "King of Pain" to bring you...

And then, while you're at it, maybe a NSFW version called Jar Jar's Kinks?
