What's the English word for those piles of dried bush branches that always drift in the wind across deserted streets in western movies? Is there even a word or name for them?

Well, tomorrow or later this week you'll see it in my parody "Covid" set to Ella Fitzgerald's "Fever". Here's a sampler:

I tense up when I hear my name

Getting back in the game tomorrow with "Gettin' Covid a-loco" set to Ricky Martin's "Livin' la vida loca" - a song I thought I'd never parody but it was on radio and this idea came and... well, you know how it goes if you're an amiwriter and been there.

Got a little inspired again, so a parody of Loretta Lynn's "Don't come home a drinkin' (with lovin' on your mind)" called "Don't come here with Covid, keep distance - do you mind?" is coming tomorrow. I'll base it on a Jamie O'Neal cover though. Seems to be classic country song that is almost, but not totally, unused on Amiright before.
