Talk about Weird Al's latest album here!

Saw the "Tacky" video yesterday. It's not a out-and-out laffer, I need to check the lyrics. Cool video, though--I prefer seeing Al on film instead animated creations, though I realize it's cheaper to do.

Talking about animated videos his "Word Crimes" parody of Robin Thicke's rape song "Blurred Lines" debuted today as well as the whole freakin album. It was decent enough some songs are straight out crappy like "Mission Statement". I think that "Alpocalypse" was better

I watched Word Crimes also. That parody really necessitates animation. They did a superb job with that , I think. And that one also was pretty damned sophisticated...The type of parody I would expect from one of us on Amiright!

He has never released a perfect album. Bad Hair Day is the only one where I am not compelled to skip a track or two.

"Foil" is out today! It's very funny and the video goes perfectly with the Propoganda theme of this album but my issue with this song is that he did an abridged version of the song leaving out another chorus and stanza which is odd and out of character for Al.

I disagree about Bad Hair Day though cause I can't stand I Remember Larry it's just a bit too dark and disturbing which is odd cause I love Night Santa Went Crazy, Christmas At Ground Zero, Weasel Stomping Day and Nature Trail To Hell

The biggest reason I like "Larry" is the psychedelic coda. Otherwise, it wouldn't be much (I think it partially inspired my Prince parody "Hilarious".)

#4 is up today! And it's a very well done music video reminding me of those cheap independent local commercials and it's great. "Handy" to "Fancy" by whatsherface...

And geez, talk about improving an OS! I still haven't heard it proper, but it seems to me that this "Fancy" track could be annoying as hell.

Today's video is an original song called "Sports Song" and just has Al parading around in a marching band costume. If your a band geek you'll like it otherwise this one was extremely Meh to me.

Agreed, I havent heard the whole album yet, but this one was a stinker. "Harvey The Wonder Hamster" was a much better marching band anthem. Oddly I have not seen the video yet, my browser has issues with Funny Or Die.

I am not a fan of The Pixies, so I am not enamored of "First World Problems" as other music nerds who seem to be praising it. Worth more listenings, to be sure, though.

"Laim Claim To Fame" would be my second-least favorite for now. The video did add a lot to it, especially with that sly wink to Peter Gabriel early on.

"Mission Statement" was extremely well-done, but I wish he got more creative with the buzzwords as the song built towards the end.

That leaves Jackson County Freeway to go (I did hear a Youtube upload of Now That's What I Call Polka, incredible as usual). I don't like Cat Stevens, so this should be a ton of fun.  :D

See I like The Pixies because they were in the movie Scott Pilgrim VS The World and that is one of my favorite songs on the new album. I also was a fan of Lame Claim To Fame and thought Weird Al doing a style parody of Southern Culture on the Skids was odd and unusual because not many people have heard of that band. Jackson Park is funny. I love Now! but it only has 11 songs in it while most of his Polkas have about 14 so I wish he added a few more tunes in it. This is his worst album in a long time though. Cause it has a few duds and I think if he waited more than 3 years he could of come up with a better one but it's still Weird Al so you gotta love him
