Being a fan of Disney and of Star Wars the deal with the two combining "forces" really made me happy while I'm sure it pissed a bunch of Star Wars geeks who hate Disney off...

Because of the deal I'm thinking about turning a bunch of Disney songs into songs about Star Wars...

A few examples I have in mind are:


1. "Jabba The Hutt" to "Winnie The Pooh"
2. "Darth Vader Will Kill" to "Cruella DeVille"
3. "When You Build Up A Death Star" to "When You Wish Upon A Star"

And...

4. "Disney Bought Out LucasFilm And Now They're Making Sequels" to "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"

Anybody who would like to join me in this is more than welcomed to!

The Rules:

1. The Song Topic Must Be Related To Star Wars... Any of the movies, comics, television shows: Yes even the dreaded Holiday Special!
2. The Song Must Be Of A Disney Song (I'm trying to stick to traditional Disney songs... From the movies and from the park. I don't want Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers to be apart of this!)

I think this project is a really cool idea and I'd join in if I had more time and less writer's block but at present I'd be glad to make up something short with "Yesterday" for Christmas. Here's an idea for you all though:

Sci-fi director JJ Abrams will head up the seventh Star Wars film, Lucasfilm owner Walt Disney Co has said. Star Wars creator George Lucas said he was the "ideal choice" to direct the movie - due out in 2015 - adding "the legacy couldn't be in better hands". It will be scripted by Oscar-winning writer Michael Arndt. Abrams, who co-created Lost and directed the Star Trek reboot, said he was "more grateful to George Lucas now than I was as a kid".

It's A Trap to BE OUR GUEST

So I'm thinking about making "Disney Wars" into an actual CD because I'm a huge Disney and a huge Star Wars fan. Thus I really wouldn't mind putting the time and effort into actually singing these songs and recording them. I'm not the greatest singer of all time but I have made a few recordings back in the day (Below Average Dave got a lot of us into recording our work) and I know I can nail the pacing on pretty much EVERY Disney song (seeing that I worked there for about a year and probably been to the Disney World park over 100 times).
