How do you pronounce the W in Not Suitable For Work - wee, or dubbleyou?
I want it to be "enn, ess, eff, wee" so as to fit a line for a parody I'm writing.
And no, this is not for another YMCA parody in the works! ;-)

I never pronounce W as Wee... Maybe it's a Non-American thing like pronouncing Z as Zed. I dunno...

Definitely not. W is pronounced "double-you"...or "double-ya" if you're in a hurry. Or "dubya" if you're really in a hurry.
On topic, I'm pretty sure NSFW is pronounced "not-safe-for-work". Never heard of the sounding-out-the-letters thing for NSFW like people do for YMCA and that kinda thing.

Thank you Matthias and COP!
"Not-safe-for-work" too is four syllables, so that'll work, I thought it was "suitable

PS. Matthias, I know you're a movie buff - here's a super long thread on letsrun.com that you'll enjoy.

For the record, I pronounce the "W" in NSFW as "Work". Not-safe-fer/fur/for-Werk/Wurk/Work. Four syllables, three rhyme possibilities. (You could get away with Enn-Ess-Eff-{Dubya|Double-ewe} at 5 or 6 syllables if required, and I wouldn't blink an eye. But my first response is the four-syllable version with whatever accent the speaker happens to have.
