Subject: Would a built in link shortener be useful for people?
Written By: ChuckyG on 01/03/11 at 11:46 am
Instead of using a 3rd party site (that could disappear overnight) would it be helpful if I built in shorter links on the site in addition to the regular ones?
for example:
http://www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/theredhotchilipeppers8.shtml
would also be something like:
http://amiright.com/b87lkd
(not a working link because I haven't written anything yet)
I could post the shorter link on every page in the "link to this page" section at the bottom of each page.

I could see it being useful when I Tweet about my parodies.

No I just don't post links because they're too long.
