Subject: Horror On Broadway

I've been kicking around this idea for awhile... Namely to do something along the same lines as "Lord of the Dance".
If you guys aren't familiar with what that was, or you weren't around when I created that project basically it was about converting the tale of "Lord of the Rings" into Broadway Musical songs.

It was actually a big hit back in 2005. Now we have new people as well as the same old people who were in that project.
What caused me to pull this idea back up was the soundtrack to "Evil Dead: The Musical" which I happily got from a buddy of mine, in which the songs weren't parody but were funny nonetheless.

So................
My idea now was to do something along those lines but instead to popular Horror Movies such as a "Saw" showtune, or a "Jaws" Broadway number, or something from "Friday the 13th" but in the style of Broadway showtunes.
If this at all interests you let me know and we can make this a reality!

Just something I notice when you post 'projects' often referring to them as contests, I like projects better than contests personally, as they give you a break from the competitive nature of contests

Sure I love broadway AND horror movies (or comedies that failed at being horror movies)

I need something to get me back on my feet... I'm not too big on musicals (unless Freedom Call and Rhapsody of Fire count as musicals), but I have hi-speed internet and YouTube, so I'll think it over.

Maybe "Repo: A Genetic Opera" would be a good place for you to start. It wasn't a Broadway show of course, but it's got all the trappings of one with a hard rock score, and also is a horror movie! ;)
