From the anarchist who brought you the rock opera MOMMY (a parody of The Who's Tommy) and who could also be blamed for instigating the Christmas rock opera Deck The Wall (a complete parody of Pink Floyd's The Wall), coming soon for the season will be a follow-up rock opera discussing Christmas and all of the lousy and wonderful things associated with it in these modern times----


HOLIDASIA!

Now this was something I proposed doing last year, but never got around to it for various reasons. This time, I am announcing it this early so it can be done in time before we all rush off to our respective Xmas responsibilities. As I did the previous time, I would like to open the field for anyone interested in contributing to this project. Please note that this is not a contest. The list of songs from the album Quadrophenia are below; however, those highlighted are the ones that I will lay claim to right now. Anyone who wants to participate should PM me or drop a line in this thread, and I will add you to the list of "taken" songs. The theme of the parody must be related to Christmas and the holiday season--Kwanzaa and Hannukah are also accepted as themes, if desired. Please submit your entry as soon as possible so we have the complete album in by December 19 (I will be on vacation after that date and unavailable for Internet surfing until the New Year). If there are no interested parties, fair enough...I will do it myself by that date, come hell or high water.

So, let's rev up our musical mopeds and pop some uppers and take on The Who.
