Looking through the list of submissions by author by year, John's been submitting the most to the site almost every year for the past four or five years.
2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008

More than a couple of years for me. I haven't made the top ten since 2003 and missed the list entirely in 2006. I'm never going to write hundreds in a year, but hopefully I can keep doing well with the ones I do write.

If it makes you feel any better, I've not finished in the top 10 ever. . .though I'm on a bit of a streak of ideas lately, I just don't write as quickly as most other people. . .I'd be shocked if I'm still number ten come the end of the year, everyone ahead of me is writing much more than me--and Merry & Pippin are pretty active right behind me--but we shall see. . .I've already surpassed my 2007 parody total, but yeah I can't see me writing as many parodies as some of the top tier do, I'm happy to be on the list, and to be in the top ten is kinda neat. . .hope the ideas keep coming :)

As far as submitions, my first year I thought it be cool to do 100 a year. I did about 100 the first year and this year about 20. My parody birthday is september 5th. I wouldn't mind catching up during my 3rd year if it's possible.
