I hope that this could be a public service for all involved with the site, users and admins alike. Why not have this singular thread to report the issues that are outlined in the title? Save time sending e-mails, not clog the forum with similar threads? If admins and mods don't feel this is a good idea, feel free to lock it away.

Simply link the parody in question, with a brief explanation as to why it should be removed. Always keep in mind, parodies with themes that are disagreeable to individual tastes (except explicit sex, domestic violence, or racism), personal comments on a public figure, and/or which are poorly written do not necessarily constitute removal from the site.

Here is the first entry that i think needs to be removed, because the author only changed one word throughout the lyrics.

This thread reminds me of my numerous threads aimed at Poomaster for submitting disgusting efforts to the site, yet always backfired on me because of the 'i feel that banning them would take away the freedom of speech' remark cropped up time and time again. As a result I never read any parodies that contain any references to the aformentioned subject. I rarely read any political parodies either.

Would banning Poli take away the freedom of speech? I always feel you can't have it both ways when it comes to this. Im not sticking up for Poomaster as I still feel he shouldn't have been allowed to submit his works to Amiright, but to Whatfreaks.com. However by the same token why should 'Freedom Of Speech' be applied to some people and not others?

I agree very nasty attack parodies, plagarisms and fragments shouldnt' be allowed however as that crosses the line between freedom of speech into downright nastiness/stupidity.

Just a thought. Im not taking any sides here.

I never said poo parodies 'violate' the submission guidelines. They may not technically violate the guidelines as you put them, but some of poomaster's jobs were verging to the point of being pornographic on most occasions. I don't know why you seem to be so supportive of poo parodies anyway.

It appears to be a work from Cisum Rd spelt backwards (who has been banned a few months back); two of the commentators have even said/suspected it was him, and there are a couple of other comments on it that are of DrM's ilk, complete with the "Were-" prefix. So if you could, please rid the site of that parody and any other comments that start with "Were-", such as "Werejoshpeckprince". thank you.

I don't know how whatever Poomaster's stuff was/is because I don't look.  Poo is not my thing.  I do know that from my Dogie Doo parody that you have no tolerance whatsoever for poo.  All I think about when I see you keep talking about Poomaster is a whining little brat.  Sorry, but that's how I feel from what I've observed from you.  I'm not trying to be mean.

Jason, as Karen and Wildcard/Ann have pointed out, it's a thing about free speech.  As long as it's in the guidelines, it is allowed.  Bordering yes, but as long as his parodies were not pornographic, they don't violate the guidelines.  If we want to ban all gross parodies, It'd eliminate a good portion of the database.  Some people are offended by fat jokes too-should we ban those?  How about jokes about dropping pants-there are some people who'd rather not read that too.  Perhaps all parodies that offend anyone should be removed--you see the problem?

Racist parodies, such as some of Polikically Incorrects are specifically banned because they insite terrible hatred and intolerance, intolerance that isn't allowed on the site.  Parodies that are merely gross don't equal the pain and anguish that such hate can cause.

Think about it Jason--if we banned poo parodies because some people don't appreciate them, what's next?  It's not something that is seriously hurting someone, allowing this forum or site to be used to spread hate in the manner this parodist (Who is eerily similar to the banned Linda therune) is inherently wrong.  There is a mountain of difference.

Please know I won't judge your parodies based on this thought, but you do kinda take it too far when you compare free speech about poo to free speech about racism. . .there isn't much not tolerated here, and I for one don't want to have my creativety restricted, there is a noticeable line some people choose to cross.  My 'support' for poo parodies, is not support--it's tolerance of all parodies, I judge all parodies individually regardless of what I think of a type of parody (IE I am not a fan of "list parodies" but have found exceptions, and I have never ran a campaign to try and ban them--in fact I even wrote one). . .just think about it.  You see with Karen and WildCard's response, it's not just my opinion bud

Both people who've commented on it agree that it is a blatant attack on an individual commentator who calls himself "Mr1's." I agree that it is an attack, because the parodist slammed the anonymous individual on his opinions about the US President. The parodist has been writing a lot of hate-parodies about the president lately, and it's gotten to the point where he's resorted to attacks on the commenters who disagree with his sentiments. It is one thing to dislike a political figure, but to make repeated threats and then resorting to attacking the commentators, that's where the line should be drawn.

Something that I find curious, he says he's Canadian, Did he move here to the U.S. and become a citizen?

I know that political parodies based on the U.S. can be done by someone from another country(and vice versa), although I'm alittle surprised that some would focus on another country's president or other political figure at that sort of intensity.
